KABIRIA ASSOCIATION The cultural association KABIRIA was founded with the mission of putting the spotlight on 'our' cinema, on 'our' shows, 'our' ads and short films. The theme we have at heart is the centrality of the HUMAN BEING, which naturally means keeping our eyes and minds focussed on what is around us, on 'our' territory, i.e. the WORLD, social, physical, phsycological. The name comes from the well-known movie Cabiria by Giovanni Pastrone, who was born in Asti on September 13th, 1882, a pionner among movie-makers.  The Kabira cultural association has worked side by side with Living Theatre for the production of multimedial shows, and with Monicelli, Andreasi, Bebo Storti, Lucia Vasini and others for cinema productions. The group was founded in 2003 and to this day has produced: Spazi Siderali, Fur Him, Nanà and the social communication advertisement ;Cosí è se vi pare'. The association is composed by director Giuseppe Varlotta, president, Tiziana Larocca, vice-president , Francesco Sung il Bechis, who takes care of the storyboards and is also a painter, designer and graphic artist, Daniele Ferretti, composer, and finally Monica Costagli, photographer.
